The LIVE Annual Showcase Returns! This evening, the Four Season’s Dancers will lead the audience through a veritable tour of dance around the Globe—from Persia to Peru, Austria to Israel, Uzbek to America…and even to Egypt! Premiering 10 new dances and 8 beloved Four Seasons’’ “signature” dances featuring all-original complex choreography and performed in a dizzying array of brilliant custom-designed costumes. The Four Seasons has thrived throughout the 2020-21 shutdowns and have remained a strong presence in the DC Metro’s dance arena through virtual performances, continued outreach, collaboration with other local arts organizations, and the creation of a troupe for local students- The Four Seasons Juniors! They have performed at the United Nations (NY), International Monetary Fund (Washington, DC), Organization of American States (Washington, DC), The National Christmas Tree (Presidential Park, Washington, DC), International Festival (Bowie, MD), World Dance Showcase (PG County, MD), Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club (Bethesda, MD), The Leggett Legacy Forward Celebration and many productions with Bel Cantanti Opera. Artistic Director/Choreographer/Costume Designer Elena Indrokova Jones graduated from a premier ballet school in Russia and personally creates each work curating traditional folk-inspired styles including gypsy, flamenco, polka, tarantella, mambo and more. The Four Seasons Dancers Inc. is a 501©(3) corporation committed to promoting an understanding, appreciation, and celebration of world cultures through dance. Our nonprofit status enables us to expand and enrich our current out-reach projects.
