Fans of "Drunk History" and all its slurred education will fall over laughing at "Sh*t-Faced Shakespeare", where an entirely serious Shakespeare play is performed with one entirely inebriated cast member. For the last eight years, "Sh*t-Faced Shakespeare" has been performed in the darkest corners and diviest bars in the U.K., and the cast is now bringing the good time to Austin. Side-splitting, raucous and completely interactive, this show enjoyed sell-out runs at the Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe festivals, where a cast member drinks beer, wine and whiskey on stage, drunkenly sings the "Dawson's Creek" theme song and occasionally (accidentally, of course) bares a nipple or two. Brush up on your Bard knowledge and head over to Spider House for a drunken twist on "Romeo and Juliet", because this is Shakespeare as you never knew you wanted to see him before. [less-]

You've seen those crowds pop up at block parties, beer gardens and other massive public gatherings with whimsically gigantic headphones. They're usually dancing their hearts out -- to seemingly complete silence. You can be a part of the party that's happening inside the headphones with Quiet Events. Quiet Clubbing is a cutting-edge party that offers three live DJs, each spinning a different mix, which you can access via your free-to-rent wireless headphones. Each headset has a color LED that shows what channel you are listening to, so you can dance with those listening to the same DJ as you. Choose from Top 40, rap/R&B/reggae or '80s/'90s/EDM, and switch between them at any time. If you want to talk to someone, just take off your headphones. There's no loud music to shout over. Quiet Events has hosted a ton of booming quiet clubbing outdoor extravaganzas and bar crawls at picturesque locations like the Brooklyn Bridge, rooftop bars and cruise ships. Now, they've decided to extend the fun to Austin. You too can enter a new world as soon as you slip on the iconic light-up headphones. [less-]

If you're into serious motorcycle racing, with elbow-scraping turns, massive speed and teeth-rattling wipe-outs, then the MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas will definitely get your motor running. Returning to Austin's Circuit of the Americas (COTA), the "Horsepower Rodeo" is the only race of its kind on North American soil, where you'll see two dozen of the world's best riders whipping around the track at speeds of well over 100 mph. Last year's winner and current world champion, 24-year-old Spaniard Marc Márquez, is expected to be back to defend his title aboard his trusty Honda RC213V. Márquez already holds dozens of records, including the most all-time wins and consecutive pole positions at COTA, not to mention the most pole positions ever in the history of MotoGP. He's also the first and only rider to crash 27 times in one season. Grab seats in the Main Grandstand, right on top of the start/finish lines, and you'll get great views of the starting grid, pit lane and team garages, as well as Turn 1, the notoriously perilous left-hander. Turn 15 seating offers primo views of five of COTA's most challenging corners, plus the back straightaway, where the MotoGP pros have been known to push it to more than 210 mph. [less-]
